Living and working in Sydney
If you’re going to being staying in Sydney for a while, you’ll probably need to get a job. Lucky for you, Sydney is the perfect city to base yourself for a working holiday in Australia. While you live in Sydney, you can work, save up some dough, and then go explore the rest of the country. Make sure you visit Byron Bay, before you even think about leaving the state. There are plenty of jobs here. A lot of travellers get work in pubs, cafes and shops. Depending on your skills, you won’t have much trouble finding work - especially once you make some friends who can point you in the right direction, or even hook you up with their bosses!

Expect to find really cool street-wear, skate and design stores and epic kicks. The stores are a little male skewed but there is enough stuff here to keep the fairer sex entertained. Great place to people watch and get a feel for the subculture in the area. You will see skaters, hipsters, and weirdos in their natural habitat.Here are some places that are worth hitting up.
